Our Mission

We design artful glassware that shapes atmosphere and supports meaningful moments. Through 360° full-wrap, color-rich designs and thoughtful intention, each piece is created to feel expressive, considered, and at ease: bringing warmth, mood, and quiet distinction to the spaces where people gather.

Each design begins with the space it will inhabit: how the glass will be held, how the design interacts with light, and how it quietly contributes to the overall experience of a room.

The Journey

Shibui Studio is rooted in a career built around pattern, color, and the belief that beauty belongs in everyday objects, not reserved for special occasions.

The work began as digital painting, shown in galleries and art festivals. It evolved into surface pattern design for luxury accessories: creating the kind of considered visual language that makes an object feel personal before it's even touched.

When the moment came to find a new surface, glassware arrived almost by design. The parallels were immediate: an object held daily, experienced through touch and light, capable of carrying pattern and depth in ways few surfaces can. The 360° wrap of a glass became the canvas. The hospitality space became the context.

Today, Shibui Studio brings that same artistic eye, honed across a decade of pattern, color, and surface to glassware designed for the hospitality environments where atmosphere is everything.

What We Believe

Style should feel personal, restrained, and enduring. We believe in designing with integrity and prioritizing visual depth, considered craft, and a curatorial approach that allows each piece to stand alone or work within a larger design language effortlessly.

Atmosphere isn't added after the fact. It's designed from the beginning.

Glassware is the one designed object a guest holds. We think it deserves the same intentionality as everything else in the room.

For Hospitality & Venues

Shibui Studio partners with hospitality interior designers and venues as a creative collaborator, not a supplier. Every engagement begins with the space: its atmosphere, its material language, its lighting, and the experience it's designed to create.

From our six curated collections each developed around a distinct hospitality atmosphere , to fully exclusive designs commissioned around a specific project vision, we work both ways depending on what serves the space best. In every case, the design comes first and the glass follows.

All Shibui designs are venue-exclusive. Once a design is placed, it belongs to that space and no one else.

The Signature Finish

Our 360° full-wrap designs are printed directly onto professional-grade glassware using UV-cured inks that are smooth to the touch, rich in color, and crafted to carry the depth and presence of enamel artistry. The finish is meant to be felt as much as seen: dimensional, tactile, and responsive to light in ways that reward attention.

Each piece is hand-washed to preserve its appearance over time: a care standard consistent with the premium glassware it's designed to accompany.
